Dawn Catucci is the Founder and Clinical Director of Mental Health Counseling for Emotional Well Being PLLC, which is a small group private practice. She is a NYS Certified School Psychologist and a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Dawn has extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). Dawn specializes in evidenced based counseling practices for children, teens and young adults. She is a Diplomate and Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist by the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (ACBT). Dawn has been a school psychologist for 22 years. In 2008, Dawn and her colleagues were one of the first schools to implement comprehensive DBT in a school setting and are now implementing comprehensive CBT in a school setting. She is highly interested in dissemination of evidenced based counseling practices in schools as well as in the community. She is a New York Association School Psychologist (NYASP) Board Member, has served on multiple conference committees and as the Chapter L Co-Representative since 2009. Dawn has presented at state conferences and local NYASP chapter workshops on utilizing comprehensive DBT and CBT in a School Setting. Dawn is also experienced in working with students who have developmental disabilities and Autism. Prior to becoming a School Psychologist and Mental Health Counselor, Dawn was a Special Educator and a Kindergarten teacher.
